NASA provides members with the following:

Professional Conferences
NASA hosts two professional conferences each year: Reno/Lake Tahoe in June and Las Vegas in November.
  Topics include current and controversial issues in education.
  Recertification credit made available with no cost to members.
  Two annual conferences for assistant principals, deans and entry level administrator in Las Vegas    
  and Reno.
  Two law conferences conducted annually.   
  Workshops presented throughout the year to enhance leadership skills and promote networking.

Nevada's Principals' & Superintendents' Academies
Established in 2004 to provide workshops, conferences and retreats dealing with a variety of timely 
statewide topics.
  Outstanding national and local speakers are featured.   

Legislative Representation
 
NASA provides a strong voice for Nevada school administrators on all matters of public policy 
  affecting education.
  NASA develops and promotes legislation that addresses the needs and concerns of Nevada school 
  administrators.
  NASA works to modify or defeat legislation that is detrimental to education.
  NASA works closely with other educational organizations to promote ideas and programs that will   
  benefit Nevada schools.
  NASA employes a full time lobbyist to represent school administrators during the legislative session.

Publications
  The Nevada Administrator
published electronically four times each year.
  LIFE, an electronic biweekly pape published during the legislative session.

Provides members with a free $5000 life and $5000 accidental death insurance policy (Associate Members).
Provides $100,000 professional liability insurance for members (Associate Members).
Offers the Byington/Conner Scholarship to members' children annually.
Participates with other educational associations including:NAESP, NASSP, ASCD, AASA, NSEA, NASB and the Nevada Department of Education.

NASA employs a full time staff to disseminate information and provide continuous service to members, officers and committees.

How to Join NASA
and Renew Annual Membership

Active Membership: If you are an administrator currently employed in a public or private school system in Nevada, you may join NASA as an Active Member.  Professional dues are $19.00 per month and can be payroll deducted.  The application can be submitted electronically or print a copy of the completed application, and fax it to the NASA office at (f) 775.727.7632 or mail it to NASA P.O. Box 3067 Pahrump, Nevada 89041.
Annual Renewal: NASA members can submit the Active Membership or Renewal Application electronically or print a copy of the completed application, and fax it to the NASA office at (f) 775.727.7632 or mail it to NASA P.O. Box 3067 Pahrump, Nevada 89041.

Associate Membership: If you are an educator currently enrolled in a school district or university administrative training program, you may join NASA as an Associate Member.  Professional dues are $8.00 per month and can be payroll deducted.  The application can be submitted electronically or print a copy of the completed application, and fax it to the NASA office at (f) 775.727.7632 or mail it to  NASA P.O. Retired School Administrators and Allied Members: If you are a State Department of Education administrator or a retired administrator, you may join NASA as a Retired School Adminstrator and Allied Member.  Annual Professional dues are $50.00. The application can be submitted electronically, with your payment or print a copy of the completed application and mail it to NASA P.O. Box 3067 Pahrump, Nevada 89041
